What is stored, what is not, and how to have it deleted.
The short version
You tell this site things you would not tell most people. That is the whole point of it, and it is why the answers you give are encrypted before they are stored, why nothing is sold or shared, and why there are no tracking cookies here.
What follows is the long version. If anything in it is unclear, write to sam@kinkyassignments.com and you get a straight answer.
What is collected, and why
Your email address. It is what your account is, because there is no password. It is stored encrypted, alongside a one-way fingerprint that lets us look you up without being able to read the address itself.
Your first name, only if you give it. Also encrypted. It is used to say hello and nothing else.
Your answers to the limits list: which of the 130 items you have done, how much each one appeals to you, and how frightening it feels. This is data about your sex life, and under the GDPR that is a special category. It is stored encrypted and it is the reason this site exists: five of your eight assignments are chosen from it, and anything you mark as never is filtered out everywhere.
Which assignments you opened, marked as done, or saved. Used to show you where you are.
What you ask in the chat and what comes back. Stored encrypted, so that the conversation can continue and so that it does not repeat itself.
If you buy: the amount, the date, the payment method and the country. The country is needed for VAT on digital services. Your card details are never on this site at all.
What is not collected
No tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, no analytics from an advertising company. The only cookie set is the one that keeps you signed in, and it contains your account number and a signature, nothing else.
No profile is built about you across other websites, because nothing here follows you to other websites.
Your IP address is not stored with your answers.
Who else sees any of it
Mollie, the payment provider, handles the payment itself and receives what a payment needs: an amount and an email address. Mollie never receives your answers.
OpenAI processes the text of a question you ask in the chat in order to answer it. The is sent without your name and without your email address. Do not put anything in that chat that you would not want processed by a third party.
Railway hosts the servers and the database, in the European Union.
Nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising. There is nobody else.
Encryption, and what it does not do
Email addresses, names, limits answers and chat conversations are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Somebody who steals the database gets unreadable text.
What it does not protect against: somebody who has both the database and the server configuration can decrypt it, because the key has to exist somewhere for the site to work at all. That is how server-side encryption works everywhere, and you deserve to know it rather than be told that something is unbreakable.
How long anything is kept
Your account and your answers stay as long as you have an account. Purchases are kept for seven years, because tax law requires it.
Chat conversations are deleted after ninety days, automatically. Encrypted storage is good, not storing something is better.
Sign-in links expire and stop working once used.
Backups are encrypted and the last three are kept.
What you can ask for
A copy of everything held about you. Correction of anything wrong. Deletion of all of it. Withdrawal of your consent at any time.
Write to sam@kinkyassignments.com and it happens. Deletion means deletion: the account, the answers, the conversations, all of it.
You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Age
This site is for adults. There is an age confirmation at the entrance and the site carries the RTA label that parental filtering software recognises.
